The soundtrack is more in line with classic Bond, although I do find GoldenEye's with some of it's late 80s early 90s synth cheese good. In Casino, everything has a crisp polish to it, the crane sequence feels visceral and real.
GoldenEye has a really dated CGI satelite sequence and some wonky green-screen work when Trevelyan and Bond are fighting at the end on the Cradle. The effects work was better too in the 11 years. It's great observe the difference between it and GoldenEye, Campbell's other Bond film.Īlso Campbell took more artistic liberties with this, the black and white sequences in the film, the gun barrel intro.
